St. James Lutheran Church
We are proud to announce our new Intern and his wife, Zac and Jana Sturm. He will be sharing responsibilities between St. James and Immanuel Lutheran Church . Vicar Zac began serving our congregations in late August. Zac and his wife Jana moved into their South Jackson Street home during the week of August 16, 2004. Zac began his duties at Immanuel on Saturday August 28th.
Zac Sturm was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. Growing up, he remembers it snowing only one year for two days. Zac entered seminary after graduating from the University of Texas in Austin, Texas with a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts. He loves reading everything including philosophy, sprots books, mystery novels, and even Peanuts Cartoons. Zac and his new wife Jana (they were married in July of 2004) love exercising and watching sports on T.V. She prefers women's basketball, and he favors college football. Zac also loves stand up comedy, so be on the lookout for some bad jokes. Zac and Jana are looking forward to spending a year in Michigan and learning more about Jesus Christ with all of us. |
